Born in Syria governorate of Idleb city Korkina /1967/, He was learnt playing the Oud machine at the hands of the musician "Mohammed Ragab" may god bless his soul, in 1990 he started to repair and manufacturers Oud machines, and after repeated failures and successes for two years he manufactured reasonable Oud machines.
Ibrahim Sukar worked as an Oud machine player with Aleppoian orchestras as well as testing and researching to develop the industry of Oud machine, and in 1993 the name of Ibrahim Sugar started to glow.
When he graduated from the college he started developing the Oud-machines industry adding some features such as machine stability, balancing the toughness with the sound, revealed the secrets of controlling Oud's sound, setting Oud's benchmarks the (Quarter, half, three-fourths and full), controlling the benchmarks of the puzzling Oud with the "moving horse", adding (for the first time) the fiberglass bags to the musical instruments, as well as adding Albzq, Qanun, electrical Oud industry to his collection.
Ibrahim Sukar was making everything related to this profession and testing his templates by his hands.
- In 2000, Ibrahim Sukar was invited to the Oud International Festival in Tetwan City.
- In 2004, Ibrahim Sukar participated in the Cultural Musical Festival in Hums City.
- In 2004 he participated in the Arab Music Conference in Cairo, and received the Certificate of Appreciation from the Opera House.
- In 2006 and for the first time, he used the laser machine in drilling and cutting.
- In 2006 received an invitation to participate Oud international forum on the Sultanate of Oman
Ibrahim Sukar has his own style of playing the Oud machine, and he is a specialist in making the melodies imaginable using his voice and his Oud machine.
Ibrahim Sukar, is considered as a developer and Preserver of Oud manufacturing from extinction in Aleppo City between 1990 and 2006 because there were no musical instruments makers in this period but the ones who was taught by Ibrahim Sukkar.
